We offer traditional style fires with handmade canopies in steel, brass or copper in a variety of shapes & sizes. Grate fronts & dog irons can be made to a wide range of designs & we can even make use of existing items on occasion. We also now offer a modern take on our open fire heritage with Designfire which offers customers looking for a unique & modern open fire the choice of laser cut patterns and colours to complement or contrast their room.
Our Thermovent high performance open fire burns wood within our convector design which shares up to 14KW of heat it can create around the room more evenly and efficiently (over 50%) than almost all other open fires.
Several leading insurers have confirmed to us that they would regard our Thermovent open fire as lower risk to a thatched property than a stove due to the lower flue gas temperatures which translates into lower premiums.
Camelots Thermovent open fire operates on a 200mm flue meaning maximum opportunity to install a compliant flue system within an existing chimney if that is deemed necessary. This also leads to smaller air vent requirements than most open fires.
We have a 100% success rate in curing smoke problems, often an issue with Inglenooks. |
